The Town and community of Abbeyfeale derives its name from the Irish wording; Mainistir na Féile, meaning "Abbey of the Feale" which has long been recognised as a bustling market town steeped in history and heritage. Abbeyfeale is situated in the southern part of County Limerick and nestled close to the border with County Kerry.
